All insurance purchased from third-party travel websites and the insurance that accompanies credit or debit cards are not accepted as forms of coverage. If the client provides acceptable proof of current liability coverage in Mexico and declines to purchase the ALI offered by the local car rental company, an additional authorization will be placed on his credit card as a warranty at the beginning of the rental and will be refunded when the vehicle is returned without any damage or missing parts. It is suggested that those customers who have not contracted such coverage be purchased through their credit card or any other insurance company linked to this. For your safety, we request that all our clients present a valid letter as proof that their credit card has this coverage. This letter must contain a verifiable phone number and / or email address for confirmation and must indicate that CDW coverage (coverage for partial or total damage and total theft) is covered by your credit card. If our clients have the appropriate documentation and with the coverage of the banking institution that provides their credit card, the client will have to sign a declaration of personal responsibility for the value of the vehicle after having rejected the contract for said coverage with Naver Car Rentals, where you are responsible for paying for damage or theft to the car, if your credit card issuer does not cover the damage or theft within 72 hours after the insurance claim report, the customer will be responsible for the same damage . If CDW is declined, the customer will be responsible for the full value of the rental vehicle CDW reduces customer liability to 10 percent deductible for accidents and 20 percent deductible for theft -DDW- reduces the CDW deductible amount to $ 0 and reduces the deductible amount for theft protection to 10 percent. 0% deductible coverage -DDW- will only be applied with the purchase of CDW. If the client declines CDW protection, DDW will have no effect and the client will be responsible for the total damage to the rented vehicle. - DDW: this is not insurance; it reduces the customer's liability to zero. Theft protection is included with your purchase of DDW.
